ISOMIL-T - Thermocouple cable
In ISOMIL-T, the thermoelectric voltages of the thermocouples correspond to the basic values within the usual tolerance range. For NiCr-Ni, the basic values of thermoelectric voltage are identical in German and international standards. For both Fe-CuNi (thermo-iron thermo-constantan) and Cu-CuNi (thermo-copper thermo-constantan), they differ.
The tolerance value of the thermoelectric voltage is available in accordance with the following standards:
- DIN IEC 584-2
- ASTM E 230-93
- DIN 43710 – standard was withdrawn
The cables are manufactured in accordance with the DIN EN 61515 standard:
ISOMIL-M - Measurement cable
The inner conductor is usually a low-impedance wire (in some cases several wires) which transmits the electrical signal. Conductors of this kind are used in measurement and control technology and are therefore referred to as sheathed measuring conductors.
ISOMIL-H - Heating cable
The inner conductor is a heating wire made of suitable material and with the corresponding dimensions for electrical resistance heating operation. This combination is referred to as a sheathed heating conductor.
